The EAS Stamp Book Grading Scales are used to determine the condition and quality of Prestige Stamp Books

Using these scales removes the uncertainty of not knowing the condition and quality of the Prestige Stamp Books you will receive when purchasing online.

Each stamp book is evaluated using highly accurate 10-point grading scales as descibed below. Each grade has a number of conditions and the book must meet all of these conditions to be awarded that grade.

EAS Grading Scales for Prestige Stamp Books - 10 Pristine

10 – Pristine

The highest grade assigned. The stamp book must show no evidence of any handling, storage or manufacturing defects on the front and rear covers or on any of the stamp panes and interleaves. The stamps must have perfect centring.

EAS Grading Scales for Prestige Stamp Books - 9 Excellent +

9 – Excellent +

The stamp book is just one step away from being classed as pristine. This is beacuse the stamps are not perfectly centred, however the stamps will have good centring. Otherwise the book is in pristine condition. No part of the stamp book will show any signs of handling, storage or manufacturing defects.
